Description

Mouse lung organoid are three-dimensional, self-organizing tissue models derived from mouse pluripotent stem cells or primary lung epithelial progenitors. These organoids recapitulate essential structural and functional features of the developing lung, including airway-like and alveolar-like regions composed of epithelial, mesenchymal, and endothelial cell populations. They express lineage-specific markers such as NKX2.1, SPC, and AQP5, while maintaining genetic stability and reproducible differentiation capacity. Rigorous quality control ensures freedom from mycoplasma, bacteria, and fungi/yeast, alongside verification of cellular identity and functional performance. Mouse lung organoids provide a physiologically relevant platform for studying lung development, modeling respiratory diseases such as fibrosis, infection, and cancer, and supporting preclinical drug discovery, toxicity testing, and regenerative medicine research.
