Porcine liver organoids are established from pig hepatic stem/progenitor cells and mirror the structural and functional characteristics of the porcine liver. They preserve segment-of-origin traits, include the full spectrum of hepatocyte and cholangiocyte lineages, and re-create key hepatic functions. Given the physiological proximity of pigs to humans, porcine liver organoids are particularly valuable for translational pharmacology/toxicology, DMPK assessments, and hepatic infection or toxin-exposure models. They are amenable to long-term cryostorage in FBS/DMSO/Y-27632 freezing medium with robust post-thaw recovery, and undergo comprehensive QC for mycoplasma, bacteria, fungi/yeast, identity, genetic stability, and functional performance.
Embedded 3D Culture
All test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
For research use only. Tissue-derived organoids are widely used in drug screening, disease modeling, mechanism research, personalized medicine, and regenerative medicine. By simulating authentic disease states, these organoids provide an ideal platform to assess patient responses to new drugs and assist in the design of personalized treatment plans. Additionally, they drive the development of new therapeutic approaches, particularly in cancer research and organ regeneration, offering precise experimental tools that greatly enhance the advancement of precision medicine.
