CDX2 Antibody, Monoclonal, Rabbit targets CDX2, a 313 amino acid protein belonging to the Caudal homeobox family, which plays a key role in regulating gene expression in the intestinal epithelium. This antibody is suitable for Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), and Immunocytochemistry (ICC) applications. CDX2 localizes in the nucleus and is crucial in defining the patterning, proliferation, and differentiation of the intestinal epithelium. Both CDX1 and CDX2 genes must be expressed to reduce tumorigenic potential, to increase sensitivity to apoptosis, and to reduce cell migration, suggesting that the two genes control the normal phenotype by independent pathways.
