Chromogranin A Antibody, Monoclonal, Mouse is a neuroendocrine secretory protein involved in the regulation of various peptides like vasostatin and pancreastatin. Found in secretory vesicles of neurons and endocrine cells, CgA plays a role in modulating neuroendocrine functions both locally and nearby. It is commonly used as a tumor marker for neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), with elevated levels observed in patients’ serum and plasma. This monoclonal antibody targeting Chromogranin A, is ideal for applications including Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunofluorescence. It is suitable for use with human, mouse, rat, and pig samples and comes in a stable liquid form, stored at -20°C for one year.
