LGR5 Antibody, Polyclonal, Rabbit, also known as GPR49 or GPR67, is a protein encoded by the LGR5 gene and a member of the GPCR class A receptor family. It is a critical biomarker for adult stem cells in various tissues and plays a vital role in embryogenesis. LGR5 interacts with R-spondin proteins, its biological ligands. Expressed in tissues such as muscle, placenta, spinal cord, and brain, LGR5 is essential for normal development, with LGR5 null studies in mice leading to neonatal mortality and craniofacial defects. This antibody is ideal for Western Blot (WB) and ELISA applications, with reactivity to human, mouse, and rat samples. Stored at -20°C for stability.
