Description

Lysozyme C (LYZ), also known as LZM, is a key enzyme in the glycosyl hydrolase 22 family, involved in catalyzing the hydrolysis of bacterial cell wall beta(1-4) glycosidic linkages. It plays a significant role in the monocyte-macrophage system and enhances immunoagent activity in tissues and body fluids. LYZ also exhibits hydrolysis, transglycosylation, and slight esterase activity. This monoclonal antibody, derived from mouse IgG2a (clone 2G5A8), offers high specificity and consistency in detecting Lysozyme, making it ideal for precise applications such as Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), and ELISA. It is reactive with human, mouse, rat, and pig samples. Stored at -20°C, it provides long-term stability for various research, including organoid studies.
