Description

LYZL1 (Lysozyme-like 1), also known as LYC2, is a member of the glycosyl hydrolase 22 family. It plays a role in hydrolyzing 1,4-beta-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in peptidoglycan, as well as between N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in chitodextrins. LYZL1 has two isoforms with molecular weights of 17 kDa and 22 kDa. The full-length protein contains a 19-amino acid signal peptide and a glycosylation site. This polyclonal antibody detects the N-terminal region of LYZL1 and is ideal for Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and ELISA applications. It is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples. Stored at -20°C for long-term stability, it provides reliable results for various research applications, including organoid studies.
