LYZL4 (Lysozyme-like 4), also known as LYC4 or Lysozyme-like protein 4, is a member of the glycosyl hydrolase 22 family. It plays a role in hydrolyzing 1,4-beta-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in peptidoglycan and chitodextrins. LYZL4 has a molecular weight of 16 kDa and contains a 19-amino acid signal peptide and a glycosylation site. This polyclonal antibody, derived from rabbit IgG, detects the N-terminal region of LYZL4 and is ideal for Western Blot (WB) and ELISA applications. It is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples. Stored at -20°C, it ensures long-term stability for use in various research applications, including organoid studies.
