SPACA3, also known as LYC3, LYZL3, SLLP1, SPRASA, CT54, and ALLP-17, is a member of the glycosyl hydrolase 22 family. It is a sperm surface membrane protein involved in sperm-egg plasma membrane adhesion and fusion during fertilization. SPACA3 may act as a potential receptor for the egg oligosaccharide residue N-acetylglucosamine, which is present in the extracellular matrix over the egg plasma membrane. It exists in a dimer form (PMID:15982649). This polyclonal antibody, derived from rabbit IgG, detects SPACA3 and is ideal for Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), and ELISA applications.
